Introduction

The Data Powa Ltd. has released a list of IPL teams ranked by growth on digital platforms during the global lockdown. Analysis of multiple datasets across digital platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Google, Bing & Baidu from March 24 - May 27, 2020, reveal an index of teams leveraging digital and mobile most effectively during this unprecedented pause in the IPL.

 

Solution

We believe in aiming for the moon and hence  BlackCab was able to take KKR to 3rd Place for the POWA Index Social Media Growth Rankings! Our comprehensive research instilled with impeccable designing and strategy gave us the virtue to revamp their Visual language. From something as challenging as font personalisation to something as subtle as changing the shade of purple, we microscopically worked on the brand language to radiate a macroscopic effect that is evident in the metrics. Our approach was not only innovative but it was supremely efficient as we achieved followers growth with zero ad spends. When the pandemic hit us and we were unable to work on the ground, we created a unique pitch in our head which lead to Unique digital identities - Nights unplugged, The Great Bengali Cook were some of these digital identities which made sure that the engagement stays on point.

 

Result

To keep it monotony away we introduced engaging yet entertaining activities like - Time your screenshot, Can you solve this and Shake to see your favourite player. These activities garnered us some supreme numbers and who doesn’t love good digits on the leaderboards!
